“There is something about sandy beaches that draws us to search for the latest treasures deposited onto the shore by wave action. Sometimes we discover pieces of shells, once inhabited by living creatures, or bits of weathered driftwood, or even the occasional sea glass gem. The bits and pieces we find tell the story of life in the ocean.”
